Citroen C3 Generation
Citroen C3 Generation

After 6 years of honorable career, the Citroen C2 leaves the scene. After bidding farewell to the Peugeot 1007, the PSA group puts out another car production, all within a week. The C2 was produced in about 630,000 copies, and therefore we can not talk of a farewell linked to poor sales success. Indeed, little of the Double Chevron has come to end of their careers and, soon, will be replaced by Citroen DS3, presented at the last Frankfurt Motor Show.
Moreover, the French automaker has confirmed that the current Citroen C3 continue to be marketed, despite the arrival of the new generation, also fresh submission to the German festival. The car will turn your name to C3 Generation arrival on the market is planned for later this year. The Citroen C3 Generation will add to the various Classic Fiat Punto, Peugeot 206 and Renault Clio Storia Plus, updated versions of cars belonging to the previous generation.

Frankfurt Motor Show 2009: 2010 Citroen C3
It’s really a shame we can’t buy Citroens in America anymore. Main reason is the awesome C6. Second reason is that all the small Citroens we poked our heads into at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show had sticks.

By comparison, more than half the VWs were slushers. Moving on – check out this cute little guy! It’s the new C3, complete with its “Zenith Windshield.” As you may have noticed, the front piece of glass goes all the way to eleven. We like this, because as time moves on, safety concerns and styling trends are forcing more and more glass out of the cabin. It’s getting so bad that you can’t hardly see out of the new Chevy Camaro. Not so in this here Citroen C3. Forward visibility for the win. And the view from outside the car ain’t so bad either.
Citroen C3

The new Citroen C3 only scored four stars in EuroNCAP crash test again, the results were issued today for her as for seven other major models destined for European markets. Outcome is not fully positive, then: missing the perfect score.
The reason is plain: the new Citroen C3 does not offer the ESP as standard on at least 85% of the versions in which it is proposed in the markets. And since the new strict EuroNCAP remove a star from the overall assessment in the absence of this device, that’s what the result.
Speaking to us about it, the public relations manager of Citroen Italy Marco Freschi said noting in each case the robustness of the chassis and body, witnessed by 83% achieved in protecting adults from 74% in protecting children, but did not deny a some regret for the poor results obtained in the “active safety systems.”
