Porsche Panamera: a station wagon to increase sales?

To double its sales within four years, Porsche is introducing three new models. After talking Spyder and Roxster, it is believed that the third car can be a novel variant of the Panamera. In recent months, were published renderings of the coupe and convertible sedan derived from Zuffenhausen. Instead, now we show renderings of a hypothetical Panamera Station Wagon. Again, it is very likely that this is a fake as the Cayman Shooting Brake.

If in the future should be made a variant of the family Panamera, it would be the first station wagon derived from a car segment F. In the past, only Audi has probed the ground in this field with the concept Avantissimo 2001. Even in those days, it was thought that the debut of an A8 Avant was almost predictable. But it did not. Porsche connoisseurs, more than anything, expect the new models are more in line with the core business of Mercedes-Benz or sports car.
