Lexus has shown the first image of new model

On Monday company Lexus has extended the first official image of a conceptual compact hatchback, whose world premiere will take place in September of current year on automobile show in Frankfurt.

The debut of the serial car, which appearance practically will correspond completely to a prototype, is planned on the Geneva motor show of 2010. On it informs network edition Worldcarfans.

The official information on how serial hatchback Lexus while is not present will be called. However, according to some foreign editions, the Japanese motor-car manufacturer has already registered in the North America as trade marks names CT 200h, CT 300h and CT 400h which, possibly, and it is planned to use for this model. As it was informed earlier, for one of updatings the hybrid power-plant begins to be offered by total power of 187HP. The hybrid power-plant will combine petrol “four” in volume of 2,4 litres, the electromotor and a variator.

It is supposed, that in Europe serial compact hatchback Lexus will appear in the autumn of next year and will make a competition to cars Audi A3 and BMW 1-Series. The car little bit less, than sedan IS in the version with the diesel motor will cost.
