Jeep has a wide range of SUV models with bodywork. Some used principally for the asphalt (Patriot or Compass), others in a compromise between road use or off (Cherokee or Grand Cherokee). In the Wrangler everything is done to get the best results in this field, especially in rugged areas with poor adhesion.

Currently the only road that is on sale with the approach of the Wrangler is the Land Rover Defender, to some extent, the Hummer H3 or Mercedes-Benz G Undoubtedly, this Jeep is a totally recommendable model for demanding off-road use.

The Jeep Wrangler currently marketed appeared in 2007. It is a new model and not an upgrade of the former. There are two variants that differ in their body, one of two doors (four seats) and a four-door (five seats), named Wrangler Unlimited. The measured two-door 4223 mm, the five-door 4751 mm and with a wheelbase 523 mm longer.

Jeep Wrangler. Model 2007El Wrangler is available with three trim levels, from 33,843 € to 41,262 €. The cheapest Wrangler ( ‘Sport’) has manual windows and no air conditioning. The other trim levels are “Sahara” and “Rubicon”.

The engine range comprises only a version 2.8-liter CRD diesel 177 hp (available on all trim levels). Previously marketed a version of 208 hp 3.8 V6 that was available only for the more expensive version and, in turn replaced the previous 4.0 liter inline six-cylinder.

The Jeep Wrangler is available with a five-speed automatic gearbox or a manual six.

The Jeep Wrangler is produced at the Stickney Avenue plant in the Chrysler Group in Ohio (USA).
