Jeep marketed in Spain in late 2010 a new Grand Cherokee. It’s a completely different model in which change, besides the point, many other factors. This Grand Cherokee 2010 model shares structure with the Mercedes-Benz ML.

It is the first Jeep model with suspension air springs (called “Quadra Lift”) which allows to vary the ground clearance. It is the only major change in the frame, leaving the Jeep as solid rear axle that had the Grand Cherokee model 2008, type independent suspension (with a deformable parallelogram).

The lever to activate the shaper has been replaced by a push button. To facilitate off-road driving is a new rotary knob (called Selec-Terrain “) to select the type of surface you are driving.

The system “Quadra-Drive II is more evolved. Works like the “Quadra-Trac II but also has front and rear locking differential. The “Quadra-Drive II can combine the effect of locking differentials and brakes.
