Jaguar has renewed the XK range, both the coupe and the convertible version. In addition to small changes in image and equipment, has replaced the V8 engine of 4.2 liters and 298 hp with a new V8 5 liters and 385 hp. It carries the same engine as the XKR, but without the supercharger system.
Thanks to the 385-hp V8 engine, the XK accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 5.5 s. Although it is faster than the previous XK Coupe 4.2, which reached 100 km / h from standstill in 6.2 seconds, not so much as the BMW 650i Coupé and the Maserati Gran Turismo (comparative tab). The XK Coupe is on sale from 98,300 euros. It is 1,200 euros more expensive than the BMW and 28,000 euros cheaper than the Maserati (comparative tab).
