Lexus conceptual hatchback picture
On Tuesday company Lexus has extended the next image of a conceptual hatchback which is a harbinger of similar serial model.
The prototype has received name LF-Ch and will be presented in the middle of September of current year on a motor show in Frankfurt. On it informs the British edition Autocar.
According to the source Autocar in companies Lexus, a management has already approved creation of a production version of concept car LF-Ch. The commodity car will be offered as with a 187-strong hybrid power-plant consisting of the petrol four-cylinder unit in volume of 2,4 litre, the electromotor and a variator, and with usual internal combustion engines. Now all models Lexus are offered only with rear or an all wheel drive, however a hatchback, according to some information, will receive a drive gear only on a front axle.
As it was informed earlier, in the North American market it will be presented three hybrid versions of compact hatchback Lexus – CT 200h, CT 300h and CT 400h. Such assumption has been made by some foreign mass-media after registration by the Japanese company of the given names as trade marks.
It is expected that at the European dealers serial hatchback Lexus will appear in the autumn of 2010. The car will make competition Audi A3 and BMW 1-Series.
