These days, was sold the 2 millionth Toyota hybrid. An important result for the Japanese House, a pioneer in this technology that has brought to market in 1997 with the first generation of the Prius. HOT Toyota recalls almost 700,000 cars built in China

Toyota has recalled almost 700,000 cars built in China for a defect in alzavetri: the lubricant excess of the mechanism could overheat and melt the plastic door panels.

The house, says there have been accidents and that cars of different models are affected: 384,000 Camry, 245,000 Corolla, 35,000 Vios and 22,000 Yaris.

Toyota Lancers an early version of the 2-wheel-drive RAV4: 2WD SUV will have the front wheel drive and 2-liter gasoline engines 158Cv and diesel 2.2-liter D4D from 150hp. The consumption of diesel will drop to 5.9 l/100km, with emissions of 150 g / km of CO2 and a decrease in price of about € 1600. The 2009 Toyota 4Runner is a mid-size sport utility vehicle that combines true off-road competence with everyday driving comfort, refinement and safety.

The 4Runner’s three trim levels; SR5, Sport Edition, and Limited, are available in rear- or four-wheel drive. Each trim has a five-speed automatic transmission and either a 236-hp 4.0-liter V6 or a 260-hp 4.7-liter V8. The V8 engine boosts the 4Runner’s tow rating to 7,300 pounds. An optional third-row seat expands the passenger capacity to seven. Stability control, traction control, driver and passenger seat-mounted side airbags, and first and second row side-curtain airbags with roll-over sensors are standard.

Toyota Avalon

The Avalon is Toyotas flagship passenger car, with quality craftsmanship and smooth handling that make it a desirable choice among full-size sedans.

The front-wheel drive Avalon is available in three trim levels: XL, XLS and Limited. All are powered by a 268-hp 3.5-liter V6 engine, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode. The XL trim is well-equipped, with 16-inch alloy wheels, automatic climate control and a six-disc CD changer. The XLS trim adds 17-inch alloy wheels, a power moonroof and leather upholstery, while Limited trims are further outfitted with heated/ventilated front seats and an upgraded audio system. Standard safety features on all trims include anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist, vehicle stability and traction control systems, front side-impact airbags, overhead curtain airbags for front and rear occupants, a driver-side knee airbag and active anti-whiplash front head restraints.

Toyota Camry

The benchmark Toyota Camry sedan continues its reputation of safety, reliability, and quality while offering fuel efficiency, space, and power.

The Camry is a front-wheel drive, five-passenger, four-door sedan featuring four trims: Base, LE, SE, and XLE. A new 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and six-speed manual transmission are standard; a six-speed automatic transmission with sequential shifting is optional. LE, SE, and XLE models are available with a 3.5-liter V6 and six-speed automatic transmission with sequential shifting. Stability and traction control, six-airbags, and tire pressure monitor are standard.

The 2010 Toyota Camry receives interior and exterior redesign, a new 2.5-liter engine, and six-speed manual transmission. Vehicle stability control is now standard on all trims.
