In the spring of 2009 reached the Jaguar XFR, sportier version of the XF range. It is distinguished mainly by its V8 engine of 5.0 liters and 510 horsepower. The Jaguar XF is a four-door sedan. For size and power, the XFR is an alternative version of the Audi RS6, the BMW M5 or the new Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG.

The XFR costs 98,900 euros, about 5,000 euros less than the BMW M5 (103,400 euros) and 20,000 euros less than the RS6 (121,550 euros). The Jaguar XFR reaches 100 km / h coming from standstill in 4.9 s, slightly higher than its rivals. The Audi RS6 does the 0-100 km / h in 4.5 seconds and 4.7 seconds BMW M5. The XFR’s maximum speed is electronically limited to 250 km / h.

The average consumption is 12.5 Jaguar approved l/100 km. It is slightly smaller than Jaguar’s supercharged V8 engine of 4.2 liters and 416 hp (12.6 l/100 km) which replaces the XF range, and far below those of its competitors. The Audi RS6 costs 13.9 l/100 km and the BMW M5 14.8 l/100 km (failure to know the consumption of the E63 AMG E-Class, 2009).

The new Jaguar XFR is distinguished from other versions of the XF by the chrome front air tickets, that are on the hood, the rear skirt in body color, four exhaust outlets, a spoiler on the trunk lid , new intermittent lateral smaller, LED, and the initials ‘R’ present in different areas of the body and interior. It is bringing some new alloy wheels and seven-spoke 20-inch double.

In April 2008, Jaguar went on sale in Spain, the revamped version of the X-type. It is a completely new model, but an update of that was for sale. The amendments, which amounts to 500 components Jaguar, mainly affect their appearance, both outside and inside the cabin.

Regarding the engine range, there are no changes except that the 2.2 D diesel engine can now be combined with an automatic gearbox six-speed sequential handling function. 2008 Jaguar XK-Series

Upon introduction, the XK Coupe is equipped with a standard 4.2-liter, V8, 300-horsepower engine that achieves 16-mpg in the city and 25-mpg on the highway.

The XKR Convertible is equipped with a standard 4.2-liter, V8, 420-horsepower, supercharged engine that achieves 15-mpg in the city and 23-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims.
