The World Wide Web has finally seen the first official images of the 2010 Opel Astra and they probably liked what they saw. However, all they can do for now is to look at the Astra’s photos pending until it is revealed during the next Frankfurt Auto Show.
For one, the 2010 Opel Astra will have a diesel engine version producing a horsepower of between 90 to 150. Auto enthusiasts can however expect a standard engine with 70 to 200 horsepower. The Astra is actually a 10th generation hatch from Opel which was inspired by the larger Insignia specifically when it comes to the Front Camera system which is a great safety feature as it can act as a lane departure warning system and can read incoming speed signs.
The 2010 Opel Astra is a significant model for Gm as it will be eventually sold in North America and in Australia.
