2010 GMC Terrain Car Pictures

That’s a fair point, comparing the Equinox/Terrain to what Ford is doing with the Flex/MKT… but isn’t GM already sharing this platform in a similar fashion between the Equinox (low end) and Cadillac SRX (luxo)? So, we now have a third vehicle in the Terrain to do… what, exactly? Split the middling difference between the two?

Even C&D — whose fawning “reporting” throughout GM’s travails has been questionable, at best — notes a loaded “Denali”-spec Terrain would come uncomfortably close to Caddy’s turf.

This is a ridiculous strategy for GM to pursue; for that matter, it always has been. The difference now is that GM is doing it with our money, whether we choose to buy its vehicles or not – Rob Finfrock
